
Study by Correspondence
The Foundation Course (level I) is available by correspondence. If you want to proceed to the more advanced level, you will need to move on to the online course once you complete Level I by correspondence.

What the Course Entails
The course offers a thorough training in practical astrology, based on the techniques of modern astrology, astrology of the renaissance, medieval astrology and classical Greek astrology.
The Foundation year trains you in the language of Astrology. You will learn all the basic tools and techniques of analysis and prediction, which form the basis of all other techniques you will ever learn. This also covers astronomy for astrologers, computers and some history.

1. How it Works
The Foundation Course consists of 20 modules. For each module you will receive a limited-use audio-visual lecture which is 1 to 2 hours in length, as well as printed notes. You will also be expected to take your own notes.
There are also 4 prescribed books, and some additional reading matter is provided.
Material is downloaded from a dedicated Correspondence Course website and assignments are completed by email. The computer you use for the lectures must have internet access to use the lectures and to do your assignments.
2. How Much Time do you have?
You have a lot of control over your time, but you haven't got unlimited time. The course can be completed in 1 year but you have up to 2 years to do it.
3. Who is Eligible
The course is open to everyone in every country. Payment is accepted in SA Rands and US Dollars. Students must have access to the Internet.
4. How to Apply

FIRST you will submit your application form
SECOND you will make payment
THIRD you will hear back from the school within 24 hours with instructions on how to access the course website where you can download materials.

5. Cost
Course fee for 2010 is R2,950 in South Africa or US$390 internationally. This includes lecture notes, access to audio visual material and personal tuition with Rod Suskin via email.
